The Wyndham Rewards shopping portal is currently offering 12,000 points with a LifeLock monthly subscription. There is a higher award for an annual subscription, but the site doesn’t specify what that reward would be. Nonetheless, this could be a decent reward to check out the monthly subscription. Terms indicate that you’d need to keep it for at least 60 days to get the points.

Quick Thoughts
This tip came out of our Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group and it looks like the cheapest monthly plan is $9.99 per month. Members of our Facebook group report that the terms are accurate — you’ll need to keep the subscription active for at least 60 days, so I think you’ll be on the hook for at least $20 or maybe $30 depending on whether you need to keep the subscription just beyond the initial 60 days. Beyond that, I think you would be free to cancel if you wanted. That could make this a great deal since 12K Wyndham points is easily worth north of $100 (and potentially much more when used toward Vacasa vacation rentals or some of the Club Wyndham properties).
Keep in mind though that Rakuten sometimes offers payouts in the realm of 90-100% / 90-100x Membership Rewards points. I believe that deal works on the annual subscription when it comes around. I’m not sure whether you can do one if you’ve recently done the other. That can certainly be a better deal if you value the chance toe effectively buy Membership Rewards points at a price of 1c per point more highly, though the additional payout here and value for points toward Vacasa rentals might actually make me prefer this deal.
I did the annual Lifelock sub and I have 18K pending points.
I did the monthly and I have 12k pending points
Did you see the points right away? I did the monthly too and I still have yet to see any bonus points. Purchased a little over a month ago.
Assume it’s at least a 60 day wait…
How long does this and nord VPN take to track? Completed both yesterday but don’t see either one as tracked in Wyndham…
Did this show up for you? I am in the same boat.
Nord came through but don’t have it for lifelock yet
Cheapest is $11.99 per month, not $9.99 ….?
This happened last night and today. I have called and no one can help me besides to place a phone order. I am using Chrome.
Your order could not be completed. We are unable to proceed with your purchase of a LifeLock plan.

Does anyone know if you actually need to set up your account after purchase for the rewards points to track?
Results are in! I bought the most expensive NordVPN membership for 161.73$ with the 120X points offer you guys posted about earlier. I received an email for 10,890 pending points. What do you guys think about this math? Should I request a refund now that the 12,000 point offer is out and try that? Should I do both? I will for sure use a good Vacasa rental, and I value these VPNs at essentially 0$.
Two different things. The other one is NordVPN and this is LifeLock.
I don’t know whether Nord will refund you. I could understand why you might want to go that route if possible (since 10,890 points isn’t anywhere near 120x), but if it’s any consolation, I’m not sure I woud worry much about what the “pending” email says. Wyndham sucks at math. Nothing ever matches anything, but it’s not usually that far off in the end. I had a Dell transaction last year where I got paid 3 times on the same transaction for no explicable reason (different amounts on all three). I’d bet you end up having more than one payout on that. Probably. If not, you can always follow up with them to show that you spent $X and should have gotten Y points. They’ve been pretty good at fixing mistakes when we’ve had to reach out.
Thanks! I’m basically trying to figure out this: if I don’t manage to get any extra points other than the 10K ish that aren’t enough a one bed one night stay, are 10K points still a wash for the subscription that I don’t value?
Actually, never mind: See the update I just added to that post. Refund and get the Standard plan.
Stacks with Amex Norton offer, 20% back on purchases, up to a total of $60.
Terms of Amex offer exclude Lifelock. But might be worth a try.
Ahh okay, I didn’t read the terms. Didn’t even realize it was an offer until I got the email after “Great news! You recently used your Amex Offer at NORTONLIFELOCK INC.”
New to Wyndham (well new to this version). Is there a referral or bonus for signing up for the program? thanks
In the link the standard monthly I see shows as $11.99, but that doesn’t really affect the deal much. I think I’ll go for it.
It would still be nice to know the points for the annual plan.
Tire Rack 18x if anyone is buying tires!
After buying them, where do you normally have them installed?
I usually put them on my car
I haven’t bought from there but just thinking if anyone was going to, that could be 15-20k points.
I believe that TireRack has arrangements with certain trains and you can get the tires shipped to a shop that’ll install them. I can remember if they include that in their price or charge a few bucks extra. Most tire shops only charge $10-$15 a tire to install your own tires. I’m pretty sure that even Walmart will do it.
