(EXPIRED) 2.5% / 2.5x in-store at Staples via Rakuten [Targeted?]

Rakuten is offering 2.5% cash back or 2.5 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent in-store at Staples. This may be targeted as I’ve seen some people mention not seeing the offer, though both my wife and I see it in our accounts. This could be a great deal if you’ll be shopping in-store at Staples in the coming days.

Quick Thoughts

If you use Rakuten, it is totally worth syncing up a card that earns a good return at office supply stores for your in-store purchases. Note that gift card purchases are excluded as per the offer terms (it says that cash back earned from gift card purchases will be clawed back). If you’re new to Rakuten, this also makes for an excellent stack with the offer for $40 back on $40 or more for new customers.
