If you plan to buy anything online from Saks Fifth Avenue, this is the time to do so. Below are 8 offers that are more or less stackable (see “Stacking deals for fantastic points and savings”).
1. AAdvantage eShopping 15X
The AAdvantage eShopping portal is offering 15 miles per dollar at Saks Fifth Avenue.
2. Look for targeted portal offer
I found this in my inbox:

3. By mail gift cards may earn miles
Despite the portal’s terms and conditions saying otherwise, we have a reader report saying that physical gift cards from Saks earn miles (but e-gift cards probably do not). This finding was via the Shop Discover portal, but usually when things like this work in one portal they work in others too.
4. 5X Credit card earnings, or up to 20% off
Through the end of this year, both the Chase Freedom card and Discover It card earn 5X this quarter at department stores (among other places). Keep in mind, though, that both cards limit 5X earnings to $1500 in spend per quarter.
Another option is through American Express. Some cardholders have received the following targeted offer from Amex:
Get a $30 statement credit after you enroll your Card and spend $150 or more at select U.S. major department stores until February 15, 2015.

Yeah ditto with shoebuy, screwed outta of a bunch of points through aadvantage portal over a coupon code. Awful.
Got home from work at about 9:10 PST and was ready to buy and I found out this deal is dead. Back to 6 pts/$ Oh well…..
UPDATE: A reader has provided this useful info:
-Earned AS miles buying Saks gc when it was at 8 pts.
-Used Amex sync $75 off on a $350 spend (2 transactions merchandise and gc)
-10% off for email sign up (arrived same day of sign up)
– could’ve used the DEC2014 as well but forgot about it.
-Saks lets you use up to five discount codes per transaction
Be very careful about email promo offers.. Shoebuy just clawed back entire purchase points for using 40% off email promo rather than 30% Freedom portal-sanctioned promo.
Shoebuy is unusual with that. Most merchants won’t claw back points when using their coupons.
There is also an amex offer for $75 off $350 at Saks. No twitter, just “offers for you”
