Southwest Airlines is sending out a targeted offer to members giving 60k bonus points on their Business Premier credit card. This is the best offer I have ever seen on this card.

The Offer:

  • 60,000 points after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account.
  • $99 Annual Fee will be applied to your first billing statement.
  • 6,000 Anniversary points after your Cardmember anniversary.
  • You are not eligible if you have received a bonus on this card in the past 24 months.

For more details about the offer, see this Miles to Memories post.

I applied for the 60K bonus using the link posted on Boarding Area. I did not pay attention to the bonus on the application. Today I received the email that I was approved. Only mention of a bonus was 6,000 points on the anniversary. This got me concerned so I called Chase at the number listed above. 1-888-883-2721 They told me over the phone that I will receive 60,000 points after spending $3000. Have to wait and see what I receive in the mail with the card!

Apparently Chase thinks that the 60K current/near future points are worth the 50K old points. 😉

And we got e-mails today for the personal card: 50K after 2K spend, $99 af, BUT…$100 statement credit after first purchase–of anything, not Southwest air fare, or anything.
