I bought 2 $500 cards from my local Kroger store last week and the coupon worked. I did not receive any fuel points (as I expected) and the cashier did ask for my ID and had to use a manager key at the register to authorize the purchase. Pretty easy way to garner some points.

Shan

I tried using the same coupon second time @ Kroger, it didn’t work.

Dave

Can this be done only once, or will I get $5 off every purchase until expiration date?

Ken

@Dave – Read the fine print.

Dave

The terms imply that it can be done once daily, but the coupon disappeared from my Ralphs account after I used it. I suspect the wording is wrong, and am asking if anybody has tried doing it again. I’m not interested in the short detour to Ralphs unless I know for sure it works a second time.

Gabriel

I went today to try it again since I *too* thought it was ONCE/day. It didn’t work. Cashier did a manual coupon (probably because I overheard him saying he just put in his 2 weeks notice)…so I definitely wouldn’t count on getting it a 2nd time. Sucks. I had plans to run this every day the next 5 days…

Unfortunately, this is a targeted Kroger coupon. 🙁

It’s not available to everyone nationwide.

I checked my Kroger loadable coupons on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. After combing through all the coupons each day, the $5 off the Visa/Mastercard was not one of the offers.

For someone that spends hundreds of dollars at their Kroger in the Mid-Atlantic region, I was sad that I wasn’t targeted for the coupon.

HikerT

It’s not targeted and should be available at all Kroger stores. Here is the direct link:

Would it be too much of a flag to put $1,0xx.xx on a credit card at Kroger’s?

Ken

Cool, buy 2 $500 cards and pay with a $1k or $2k AGC. Just have to make sure you get personalized cards, because cashiers WILL check your ID.

Thanks!
