It’s back up. On 8-6 I used it and paid with swyr and gift cards and the purchase hasn’t tracked. Normally sears purchases track 2 days after the order was placed. I’m wondering if they had the site down for “IT issues” to Crack down on having to pay with discover to get your CB.
I used the portal on 8/6 (paid with SYW) and received Discover Congrats on 8/8. Seems to be fine.
Relevant merchants have been gone for over a day now…my last transaction was 7pm pacific time on Aug 3rd thru discover portal…just got discover Cashback confirmation for 8/3 purchase via email just now….so everything was working just fine until that date for me…I checked on 8/4 and 8/5, all relevant merchants were removed from portal on both dates…side note, my Cashback Discover balance is currently negative ($31.31), dunno how that came about…never had a negative amount
That could happen if a merchant claws back portal cash back (if you returned an item, for example) and you’ve already used up that cash back.
All of the cashback merchants are gone again for me. Seems that they’re still working on it.
Many merchants gone, in particular SEARS!
My Discover Deals are back up and the entire program appears to have changed….the department stores are gone and all deals(less one) are instant savings vs. cash back. Not sure what others are seeing but it appears this is a major correction. I just called Discover and they said the “Deals” page in under maintenance…not sure what the outcome will be.
All merchants still missing for me. Only discounts and only cashback bonus is for 7 For All Mankind.
