eBay has a couple of promotions today that stack together to make for a nice savings. Let’s take a look.
Up to 4X eBay Bucks
Targeted eBay members can receive up to 4X eBay Bucks (8%) on most purchases through September 23, 2015 at 11:59PM. To see if you have been targeted, simply go to eBay and login to your account. You should see a message on the main homescreen. You may have also received an email as well.
Here is how it works:
- 2X eBay Bucks on $50+
- 3X eBay Bucks on $100+
- 4X eBay Bucks on $150+
Additionally the AAdvantage eShopping portal is offering 3X miles per dollar spent for a limited time. Depending on how you value AAdvantage miles, this amounts to a rebate of 10% or more.

Yesterday I got 4 miles per dollar from Ebay going through the United shopping portal.
Yes that was a great deal as well. Unfortunately that ended and their new promotion seems to be with AAdvantage.
The terms in EBay’s email are a little misleading. It says 4x bucks for “items” $150+. However, I just purchased 2 Lowe’s gc’s (total purchase $180) and received 4x Ebay bucks.
So it looks like the bucks graduate based on your total purchase, not the individual items in your cart.
