Key Terms
- Only the primary Card Member on the account can enroll.
- You will not earn 2X rewards on any bonus you already enjoy with your Card, such as when you spend on certain types of purchases or at certain merchants.
- Rewards Caps apply.

I was looking through the T&C of this offer. Where does it says only primary cardholders would earn the 2x bonus?
It is confusing and I think the AU cards will earn 2X but they don’t enroll. On their terms page (https://www.americanexpress.com/us/content/shop-small-offer/frequently-asked-questions.html) it says, “Please know, only Primary Card Members (Basic Card Members) are eligible to enroll in this offer. Eligible purchases can be made by the Primary Card Member and any Additional Card Members (supplementary Card Members) on a single enrolled Card account.”
