Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is almost done! The last two weeks Greg, Nick, and Stephen competed to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines. But who completed the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?
As reported by View from the Wing, there are some excellent airfares today from the west coast to New Zealand and Australia, with direct flights starting at $619.
Direct from Los Angeles to Auckland is pricing the best, at $619 round trip on Qantas or $629 on United:
United flights credited to Singapore KrisFlyer should earn 1 KrisFlyer mile per mile flown — meaning that this round trip to Auckland for $629 would also earn you enough Singapore miles for a one-way domestic USA saver award on United.
San Francisco is also available at $643:
Australia is also on sale, with direct flights from Los Angeles to Sydney on Qantas, Virgin Australia, and United for $656-$662:
This time, San Francisco prices out a few bucks cheaper yet:
According to Airfarespot, dates are available in May and from August through November.
