Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is almost done! The last two weeks Greg, Nick, and Stephen competed to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines. But who completed the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?
Update: The online ad was incorrect when it stated that the rebate was for a $15 Staples gift card. It is actually for a $15 Visa gift card. Hat Tip: Doctor of Credit.

How much are the ‘fees’ to buy these gift cards? And don’t CC companies frown on such gift card purchases, especially for newly opened CC?
Unless I’m trying to meet minimum spend on a card, I wait for better offers, like a $20 Visa card. $6.95 fee per $200 card. With a 5 X card, you can still do OK. $15 Staples card isn’t as exciting. If you try to charge your whole credit limit, yes, they might frown. Be wise.
Why wait. Take the $15 offer. Then if a $20 offer comes along, take it too.
