Several members of our Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group reported receiving a great targeted offer today for the Gold Delta SkyMiles credit cards (both personal and business versions): up to 75,000 SkyMiles: 50,000 miles after making $2,000 in purchases in the first 3 months and a further 25,000 miles after making an additional $1,000 in purchases in the first 6 months. I don’t recall ever seeing a better offer on the Gold Delta SkyMiles cards.
The Offer:

Quick Thoughts
This looks like a fantastic offer if you receive it. Readers reported receiving this offer via email (with the subject line: Earn up to 75,000 Bonus Miles and More with this Special Offer“) and though the email highlights the personal card they have reported also seeing the same offer on the business card after clicking through the link in the email. Seventy-five thousand SkyMiles on just $3,000 spend is a pretty terrific offer and might be the best there has ever been on the Gold cards.
Personally, I think the business version of the card looks more appealing since it wouldn’t affect 5/24 count. Furthermore, those receiving the offer have reported seeing no once-in-a-lifetime language, indicating that the targeted bonus offer may be open even to those who have had the card before (though YMMV and be sure to read the terms of your offer carefully should you be targeted). If that’s correct, it would be a welcome offer for many recipients.
If you’re a Delta SkyMiles member and looking for one of these cards, keep an eye on your email to see if you’re targeted.
Can you buy gift card on Delta.com in order to get $50 statement credit?
Yes, but make sure that you are still on Delta.com when making the purchase. People have found that if you try to do that through a mobile browser, it takes you to a different site for buying gift cards and those do not come through as Delta purchases.
Ok, I’ll try that.

Any way I can get targeted for this offer by dummy bookings etc?
Great article! I added both the main card and its AU card on one account to manage it easier. Then, I read that the offer only applies once to an account. So it seems that it is better to create 2 separate accounts to obtain the same offer on both cards. Any thoughts on this?
my wife got this offer –no lifetime – I wanted to use it -I could change name on application page
BUT!!
First thing you see on t/c

I just applied for the personal version of this card on the 60k offer last week. Could I apply for the business version now?
Yes.
Do you see Amex matching this offer for those who just jumped on the 60K offer?
They’re not known for matching targeted offers, but they match 0% of the time when you don’t ask. If you have a friend who got the email, it might be worth a shot.
