TopCashBack is offering 25% cash back at eBags today. That payout is great — and it pairs nicely with both the eBags Amex Offer, the Chase Marriott/Slate Offer, and the current 25% off sale on Tumi luggage. Of course, you’re not limited to Tumi luggage — you could get a great deal on a wide range of items at eBags.
Quick Example
You can, of course, buy anything you’d like and stack a nice savings. However, to give a quick example, here is a Tumi bag on which I’ve had my eye. The regular price is $625. It’s on sale right now in the semi-annual sale for $499.
With 25% cash back, the net cost comes down to $374.25. If you pair that with the Amex Offer for $25 back on $125 or more, you could buy three eBags gift cards. In my experience, the gift cards arrive instantly or within a few hours. I’ve also had success combining them via chat support. Since TopCashBack says the 25% payout is good for 2 days, I’d be confident that I’d get the gift cards in time.
After Amex Offers, the net cost would be down to $300. That’s a really solid offer on this bag. But that’s not even the end of it — as you can see in the screen shot of the bag above, it also comes with $31.25 in eBags Rewards. I wouldn’t exactly value those as cash — but maybe you could pick up a set of packing cubes for a gift with that. A net $300 cost for a bag that normally goes for $625 plus another $31.25 in store credit looks like a pretty smoking deal if you’re interested in Tumi bags.
Bottom line
Again, this is but one example of many. At 25% cash back, I’ll be looking at a number of things on eBags today and tomorrow to see what happens with their Black Friday sales.
I am in for TUMI/Amex, my bag shipped but Topcashback activity has not posted. Has it for anyone else? I opened a ticket with TCB. I purchased with Amex no gift cards.
To clarify TCB recorded the visit. However, no transaction posted.
Thanks for the post! Got a Tumi bag for almost ~200 off after all cashback and amex offer. Been wanting to get the bag for awhile. Good deal.
Too bad on not allowing GCs to be combined. Has anyone tried combining one purchased with the Chase offer with one purchases with the Amex Offer?
Yes, they are not allowing gift cards to be combined if purchased with an AmEx. I was able to get two reps to combine a 100 and 25 purchased on the same card, but that was it.
They arent allowing gift cards to be combined
Hi. Thanks for sharing this great deal. I had a quick question on how the Amex Offer for $25 back works – let’s say that my total is $499 that I will charge to my Amex in a single transaction. So would I get a $75 statement credit or a credit of just $25. I wasn’t sure of how the gift cards work on this transaction. Thanks in advance.
You will only get one $25 statement credit per card (assuming that you had the offer on three cards and loaded it on all three) — that’s why I mentioned buying separate gift cards and combining them via chat support (BEFORE clicking through a portal to purchase).
See our Complete Guide to Amex Offers for more on how to load an offer to multiple cards:

25% does not apply to Tumi and Briggs and Riley. I chatted with eBags.
I think you’re confused — the 25% is cash back from clicking through TopCashBack. The discount code on eBags does not apply to Tumi. There are brand exceptions to TopCashBack, but Tumi and Briggs & Riley aren’t excluded. I’ve gotten cash back on Tumi products from eBags a number of times before.
Thanks. I got a good deal on some Patagonia sweaters with this combo. It looks like it should trigger the TopCashback and I got the Amex offer.
Great to hear it! Patagonia is another great idea with these offers.
