It was reported by many outlets that the Citi ThankYou Premier 60K points intro offer was ending yesterday. While the affiliate offer for that card ended yesterday, it’s worth noting that you can still get a 60K offer on this card. There’s no telling how long the llink will continue working, but if you’re interested and thought you missed your chance, it is not dead yet.

Quick Thoughts
This offer continues to be a great deal for those who qualify. Keep in mind that you are not eligible if you have opened or closed a Citi ThankYou Preferred, ThankYou Premier or Citi Prestige card in the past 24 months.
ThankYou points get less attention than Membership Rewards and Ultimate Rewards, but they can still be quite valuable. There is a current point transfer bonus good for a 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic. Furthermore, I’ve gotten excellent value out of Avianca LifeMiles several times this year when flying family members between New York and South Carolina on United (just 7500 LifeMiles each way). Avianca has a good Star Alliance award chart, and Greg has written about leveraging it for great value (See: Avianca LifeMiles’ awesome mixed-cabin award pricing. First Class for less.).
If you are still interested in this card, click the card name under “The Offer” or “Key Card Details” to go to our dedicated Citi ThankYou Premier page, where you can find more information and an application link.
This kind of selflessness is why I use the affiliate links from this site whenever I get a chance. Aside from the best number-crunching content, the Best Offer page shows the best offers regardless whether you guys get paid or not. Again, kudos to Nick and Greg, thank you for adding class to the game!
If you product changed from a Premier to a Preferred in the last two years, are you still eligible for the bonus? The Preferred card is still open.
A product change within the family shouldn’t reset the clock. Did your card number change? If it didn’t, you should be fine.
Thanks, Nick, for the quick reply. The number didn’t change so I will apply. See you at the Chicago Seminars!
Don’t be shy — come say hi! 🙂
Will do. And if you want any tips on Hawaii, just ask. BTW, both my husband and I just got approved using your link!
