There is a new targeted Amex Offer out today for $25 back when you spend $250 or more at Best Buy. With holiday sales approaching, this will be a popular offer and it may fill up quickly so I recommend syncing it sooner rather than later. See our Current Amex Offers database for a ride range of other new offers out today.

The Deal

  • Spend $250 or more at Best Buy and get $25 back with a new widely-available Amex Offer

Key Terms

  • Expires 12/15/21
  • Valid in-store and online
  • Not valid for e-gift card purchases
  • Excludes Best Buy Express, Geek Squad purchases not made through Best Buy, and several other subsidiary services (see offer for full terms)

Quick Thoughts

Again, sync this one sooner rather than later. While terms state that this isn’t valid for e-gift card purchases, in practice that really means it is not valid on Best Buy e-gift card purchases. That’s because Cashstar runs gift card purchases for electronic Best Buy gift cards, so the charge for a Best Buy e-gift card doesn’t come from Best Buy directly and will not trigger the offer. However, other third party physical and e-gift card purchases made at BestBuy.com have historically triggered offers.

I also believe that some Best Buy stores sell Visa gift cards around the holidays, though I haven’t seen one at “my” store in recent years. YMMV.

Since this deal runs through Black Friday and Cyber Monday, many readers will find this very easy to use. Between sales on popular electronics and gift card deals that Best Buy usually offers around this time of year it should be easy to put this one to good use to save some money.
