There is yet another targeted welcome offer for the American Express Business Gold card, this one offering 200,000 Membership Rewards after $15K in spend.
This 200K offer DOES NOT have once-in-a-lifetime language, which excludes those who have the card or have had it in the past (and Amex always gives you a pop-up letting you know that you’re not eligible for the welcome bonus before it finalizes your application, regardless).
We’ve heard reports of this popping up in people’s accounts for a couple of weeks, and it appeared to be tightly targeted. Now, it seems like more folks have been added to the chosen few. Although my wife wasn’t targeted, I was.

The Deal
- There is a targeted offer for the Amex Business Gold card that gives 200,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $15,000 within the first 3 months.
- This is a no-lifetime-language (NLL) offer

Quick Thoughts
The Amex Points Parade seems to be heating up again. This targeted offer is double the card’s current public offer but requires the same spend as the 100K public offer that we’re currently displaying on our Best Offers page.
The Business Gold card can be a great card for many folks, given the attractive 4x bonus categories and the monthly statement credit for office store purchases. Even if you didn’t take advantage of any of the bonus categories, this works out to 14x MR on $15K spend…a stellar deal.

My pre-loaded offer is for the Platinum Business with 200k and $20k spend.
I am targeted but already have the Business Gold. Do I need to cancel that card first before applying for this one?
Nope. If you’re targeted and don’t get a popup when you apply, it’s clear sailing.
As long as its been 90 days since you got that Business Gold.

[…] Update 10/31/25: New link for 200,000 points. Hat tip to FM […]
Has anyone ever gotten approved automatically initially and then told later that they were ineligible for the sign up bonus?
Link seems to be broken now… worked for a second and then now it keeps showing this “We’re having trouble finding the page you’re looking for.” Could be my cache but happening on multiple browsers.
where’s the link?
Link missing?
Dead yesterday.
.
Woo thanks! I was able to bypass the 1/90 rule with this link and it’s an amazing offer!
Did you get the 200K/15K or the 200K/10k offer ?
200k/10k
Do we have an end date for this? I was targeted but looking on the landing page and offers terms it doesn’t have a set end date.
Yeah, I’d be interested. I have to figure out if we could meet the spend….
How does everyone generate that much spend in 3 months ? 10k to 15k is a lot for me. Would love some ideas. Total newb here.
Check out this post for some ideas.
This was interesting read.
Spend period nicely overlaps with tax season. Make a tax payment and get it refunded when you file your return.
If this lasts until the first of the year, you could use this to pay federal taxes. That’s what I did!
Unfortunately didn’t work for P1 nor P2.
Awesome. Worked for P1 but not P2
