The Marriott Bonvoy Business card can be worth holding for Marriott aficionados, thanks to its annual combination of 15 elite night credits and a 35K free night certificate. There’s a new welcome offer out for the card today, giving you the chance to earn 150,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points and a $125 statement credit after spending $8K on eligible purchases within the first 6 months of card membership.
This replaces the previous offer of 5 free night certificates worth up to 50K each after $9k in spend. While this new version’s first-year value is ~$300 less than the 5x50K cert offer, the advantage is that you’re not tied into 5 fixed-value certificates that expire 12 months from issue.

Quick Thoughts
While this new offer isn’t as strong as many that we see on the consumer Marriott cards, it’s among the better ones for the business card, outside of the five x 50K free night certificates offer. While the ceiling on this one is technically lower, receiving flexible points and a statement that doesn’t expire is probably a net win for me.
The Bonvoy business card is appealing for the 15 annual elite night credits that stack with elite nights from the consumer cards. If you have it along with any Marriott consumer card, you’ll begin the year with 30 elite night credits—just 20 nights short of Marriott Platinum status and its free breakfast benefit (although good luck figuring out if your breakfast is actually free). If you have the Bonvoy Brilliant card, which gives you 25 elite night credits per year, you’d start each year with 40 elite nights to your name.
