Quick Thoughts
The Rove Miles platform, which we have previously reviewed here, offers the chance to earn transferable miles for hotel and flight bookings through their portal. Mileage earning for some hotels can climb as high as twenty or thirty miles per dollar or more. Sometimes, cash prices are higher through Rove than through other platforms, though you have to consider the value of the transferable miles depending on your other booking options. Other times, I found the prices through Rove to be fairly competitive. Your mileage may vary, though I’ve heard from a number of readers who have been happy to collect great mileage rebates in some cases.
Obviously, getting a transfer bonus could potentially increase the value of your return even more. Both Air France KLM Flying Blue and Finnair Avios are very popular frequent flyer programs. Air France / KLM Flying Blue tends to be best for booking their own flights or, in some cases, domestic awards within the US on Delta metal.
Finnair Avios can be useful at times for American Airlines flights, but also for niche opportunities like the chance to book certain Scandinavian hotel chains using very few Avios. Also remember that you can transfer Avios from one airline that uses that currency to another, so you could move your Finnair Avios to British Airways, Qatar, Iberia, Aer Lingus, or Loganair.
Overall, this could be a nice opportunity to amp up the value of rewards you have been booking through Rove Miles. Alternatively, since these bonuses last for a while, it might be an additional reason to try Rove Miles out. Keep in mind that Rove is running a hotel booking bonus available through October 3rd.

Could you transfer the Rove Miles freely to the available airline mileage program, just like the Amex MR points? Thanks!
