- During the “Fall Bonus” offer, which runs from 9/29/2025 through 10/6/2025 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of 500 MileagePlus bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus Shopping mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.
- This one-time bonus award will be based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: 500 miles for qualifying purchases of $150 or more.
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles. Quick Thoughts
Earning 500 bonus miles on $150+ spend isn’t the most amazing portal offer ever, but it could still work out to be a worthwhile bonus if the United shopping portal already offers a competitive rate at whichever retailer(s) you’re interested in shopping at.
What makes it a little easier to earn is that the United portal has an in-store card-linked feature, with that spending eligible for the $150 spending threshold. Eligible stores include CVS for drugstore spend, as well as Martin’s and both types of Giant grocery stores, making it somewhat easy to hit that $150 spending threshold on everyday spend. Just be aware that this latest promo is only around this coming week, so there’s not as long as some other portal promotions.
