Quick Thoughts
If you’ve been thinking about joining Costco or if you’ve been looking to add a bit more space to your annual 2% rebate (like I often am), this could be a good opportunity to get off the fence and try it for a year.
If you are signing up for a second membership, make sure to use a different e-mail and phone number than what’s associated with your current one. Costco won’t let you use the same info on two memberships. You can have both a business and a personal account at the same address, however.

Does Costco match this offer in store? Trying to use my Mesa benefit…
No, they aren’t.
However, anecdotally, any ~$65 purchase at Costco triggers the Mesa credit.
Untrue. I shop at Costco frequently and it never triggers the credit!
It has to be a $65 charge, so you need to split tender or buy a cash card.
Exactly $65? My trips to Costco usually end up in the $100s lol
Or close to it. Some people have it trigger with ~ $130 transactions. It’s easy to do. Buy a $65 Costco Cash card in a separate transaction, then use that cash towards your main transaction. You can also have the cashier ring up the card for $65 only, then pay for the remainder with a different card.
Bought the cheaper membership planning on upgrading at the counter using the Mesa credit. Now I regret that. (especially since this is for P3 and now I need to wait for her to actually go in person to the warehouse and I can really use the Executive rewards cap)
Can we stack with Mesa card credit? Like buying gold via groupon and upgrade to executive via mesa card charge
