Doctor of Credit reports that an in-branch offer for the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card will be available to select recipients on November 16, 2025. The offer reportedly will be 200,000 points after $10,000 in eligible purchases. We don’t know for sure whether this will happen, but Doctor of Credit has reported some details from what appears to be an internal memo explaining the offer to bankers.

According to Doctor of Credit, this offer will only be available in-branch, and a banker will need to check for eligibility (it sounds like they will see a pop-up noting eligibility if you’ve been selected to receive the special offer). We don’t know whether this will become available online; as of now, it sounds like it will be available only in-branch and perhaps only to select customers.
It’s definitely a pain needing to go to a branch and take the time to sit down with a banker. On the flip side, the 200,000 points will probably still be worth it for some folks. In fact, I’d probably give it a shot if I were under 5/24 and near a branch. It is probably worth waiting to see early reports on availability before traveling from a distance to a branch, but if this ends up being widely available in-branch, it might be worth taking a ride to get to one. Hopefully, we’ll learn more next week.

I’m glad I actually answer the phone when our private client banker calls to check in.
Hopefully he can check for P2 and me over the phone.
I mentioned to him last week I heard that something was coming and please let us know if it does.
Glad to see they might be having a more competitive SUB. Although this reminds me a bit of the old Rodney Dangerfield joke about his parents hanging a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him.
An excellent & succinct way to use humor to describe one of Chase’s biggest rollout fumbles.
