Hyatt promo: Earn 3K bonus points every 3 nights + 1K bonus points for select brands

World of Hyatt has launched a new Bonus Journeys promotion. This latest iteration awards 3,000 bonus points for every three nights you stay through April 15, with an additional 1,000 bonus points available for every three nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select locations.

  • Beginning on your first Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive 3,000 Bonus Points for every three (3) Eligible Nights at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, the Venetian Resort, and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt.
  • For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s reservation and stay.
  • All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
  • A maximum of 21,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this 3K Bonus Points Offer promotion.
  • This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning (members earn two and a half (2.5) Base Points per eligible dollar at Hyatt Studios hotels).
  • If a member chooses to earn Partner Loyalty Points, the bonus will be awarded in World of Hyatt Bonus Points.
  • For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
  • Stays at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, the Venetian Resort, and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt must be booked through Hyatt booking channels to be eligible for this promotion.
  • If a stay has Eligible Nights during the Promotion Period but is not completed during the Promotion Period, the stay must be completed by October 15, 2026, in order to have those Eligible Nights on that stay that were completed after registration and during the Promotion Period count for this promotion.
  • Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
  • You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking or on property (if available) prior to check out.
  • Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
  • This promotion is combinable with other offers unless expressly restricted by the other offer.
• Hyatt Place/Hyatt Select 1K Bonus Points
  • Beginning on your first Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive an additional 1,000 Bonus Points for every three (3) Eligible Nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select hotels worldwide.
  • For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s reservation and stay.
  • This is in addition to the 3,000 Bonus Points earned under the 3K Bonus Points Offer promotion and member’s base earning.
  • All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
  • A maximum of 7,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this Hyatt Place/Hyatt Select 1K Bonus Points promotion.
  • If a member chooses to earn Partner Loyalty Points, the bonus will be awarded in World of Hyatt Bonus Points.

Quick Thoughts

3,000 bonus points for every three nights isn’t an enormous reward, but it’s still a nice bonus seeing as it’s valid on stays at all brands. It’s also valid on both paid and award stays (including Points + Cash stays), so that sets it apart from most other hotel promotions.

The additional 1,000 bonus points for every three nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select properties is a good little addition too, even if it doesn’t necessarily make it specifically worth booking those brands over other Hyatt brands.

If you happen to be booking 5+ night stays at Hyatt House or Hyatt Studios locations, make sure you’re registered for this separate 5K bonus points promotion that’ll stack with it.

If you can find category 1 Hyatt properties that have off-peak availability before April 15, this might make sense for some people to mattress run who are after Globalist status. Off-peak category 1 nights cost 3,500 points per night, so three nights would ordinarily cost 10,500 points. That’ll be reduced to a net cost of 7,500 points courtesy of the 3,000 bonus points, or 6,500 points if that stay is at a category 1 Hyatt Place.

Note that there’s a limit of 21,000 bonus points from the 3K bonus points part of the promo (i.e. 21 nights), with a similar limit of 7,000 bonus points from the 1K bonus points for Hyatt Place/Select properties (also maxing out at 21 nights).
