Starting on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers are going to have an opportunity to buy FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets to matches in U.S. host cities. This is not a lottery, but will apparently be an opportunity to simply purchase tickets to these matches, albeit likely at market pricing.

Quick Thoughts
It’s cool to see that where will be an opportunity for cardholders to get tickets, though as the terms note, these will only be Category 1 and Category 2 tickets, which have been very expensive in previous presales. With FIFA having fully embraced dynamic pricing, I can’t imagine that there will be any bargains available, but if you really want tickets for a particular match/team and haven’t been able to secure them elsewhere, this is at least an opportunity to buy without a lottery and with slightly less competition. I wouldn’t expect this to last the full two weeks, so I’d recommend looking sooner rather than later.

Lambs to the slaughter. This isn’t a perk for cardholders, it’s a smokescreen to allow fifa to limitedly release tickets to high earners who will pay the highest average price possible.
Have a CSR and am life-long soccer fan and won’t but supporting those gross, corrupt FIFA goons and their “peace prize” recipient. Considering the racist actions against non-white minorities–who make up the majority of soccer fans in the US–I’m not sure who FIFA thinks is going to come to this facist-fest.
Absolutely boycotting for political reasons, but if you aren’t, don’t be silly and buy on their price maximization rollout terms.
Do we know what time this opens?
