Quick Thoughts
Giftcards.com gift cards can be redeemed for pretty much any brand sold by Giftcards.com, with the exception of Visa, Mastercard, and Gift of College gift cards (and perhaps one or two other brands). Quite a few brands are available in $10 denominations, so it’s easy enough to redeem the $10 cards without having to pay anything on top.
The $100 virtual Visa and Mastercard gift cards come with a $5.95 purchase fee, so you’re making a net profit of $4.05 before accounting for any kind of liquidation fees that you might incur when redeeming the gift cards.
The terms state that there’s a limit of “one (3) $10 Giftcards.com Gift Card per qualifying purchase.” The reference to ‘one’ appears to be a typo because when adding three $100 virtual Visa gift cards to my cart, it also added three $10 cards.
The Giftcards.com affiliate program sent out notification about this deal which should mean that using the SPDBOGO promo code will also earn rewards after clicking through from a shopping portal. You can find the current rates here; you might find yourself targeted for an even better rate via Capital One Shopping if you browse the Giftcards.com website before making a purchase if you have its browser extension installed. Alternatively, the Southwest shopping portal is offering 500 bonus points when spending $100, or 1,000 bonus points when spending $250.
These Giftcards.com deals tend to sell out earlier than their scheduled end time, so it’s best to buy sooner rather than later if you’re interested in this offer.
