There is a collectible card that you left out, maybe because you don’t have it: The Chase Ink Visa Card, that came out before the Ink Plus, a no annual fee card that earns 3x on Gas, Dining, Home Improvement stores, and Office Supply (up to $2,000/month in each category) and 1x everywhere else.
On changing the FF number: it is definitely worth asking the agents at the gate or the check-in counter. I had my Alaska FF number attached to a paid LATAM ticket, but realized that i was very close to a Delta elite threshold, and so asked the gate agent to change it to be Delta’s. After trying, they had said that it didn’t work — but in fact it did, and a couple of days later i got the Delta MQDs for the flight (and the next elite level).
I missed what the overall favorite card is for each of you.
I keep holding on to my BOA Merrill card wondering if there’s something I’m missing or something in the future. I should probably just let it go.
Interesting about the old Venture One redemption. I had the that card, but I wanted the Savor so I kept trying to check my upgrades. It never appeared, and I got frustrated and cancelled the card entirely (since I have the Venture X). I have never been able to get approved for a Savor card to this day…
