It appears to be hotel Amex Offer week. In addition to new Amex Offers for Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Omni (both of which we’ll be covering later today), there’s one for Hilton that’s giving $40 back when spending $200 or more.

The Deal
- Spend $200+ on room rate and room charges at Hilton properties & get $40 back with a targeted Amex Offer.
Key Terms
- Expires August 15, 2026.
- Offer valid only at participating Hilton properties in the US and US territories.
- Reservations must be made online at US website Hilton.com, through the Hilton Honors app or by calling 1-800-445-8667.
- Offer does not apply to advance purchase rates, including Advance Purchase, Save Now & Pay and Non-refundable rates.
- Corporate Cards are not eligible for this offer.
- Excludes Hilton Grand Vacations Brand, AutoCamp, Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) Collection, and gift card purchases.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
Quick Thoughts
If you’re only booking a one or two night stay that costs $200 including taxes and fees—or with other room charges like meals and parking—this is a particularly useful offer. For stays that are $400 or more, ask the hotel to split the payment on two or more cards if you have this offer on more than one household card.
I found this offer on a Hilton Surpass card which is awesome as that means you’d earn 12X on the rest of the spend. Take a look on any Hilton Aspire cards that you have too as that earns 14X on Hilton stays.
Make sure you don’t book an Advance Purchase rate as those don’t trigger the statement credit for these Amex Offers.

Thanks. Got one similar offer but with different amount and cutoff date:
Spend $200 or more, earn $60 back
Expires 7/15/26
Didn’t get Bonvoy offer, didn’t get Hilton offer.
“Offer valid only at participating Hilton properties in the US and US territories”
Am I missing something in that it seems to be only valid for us properties and territories?
You’re right. I could’ve sworn that when I looked at the offer earlier it hadn’t listed restrictions which is why I’d written that, but evidently not seeing as it was in the terms all along. Thank you – I’ve fixed that now.
If I use an Aspire to pay $200 at a Hilton resort, will I get the $200 resort credit + $40 rebate, thus a total credit of $240?
