There’s a new Amex Offer out giving $100 back as a statement credit when spending $500 at eligible Wyndham properties worldwide. The catch is that it’s only valid on “luxury destinations” rather than all Wyndham properties.

The Deal
- Spend $500+ in one or more purchases at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Luxury Destinations & get $100 back from an Amex Offer.
Key Terms
- Expires October 27, 2026.
- Offer valid at participating Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in the US and Internationally.
- Please reference wyndhamhotels.com/amex-offer-luxury to view participating properties.
- Reservations must be made directly with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts online at wyndhamhotels.com.
- Excludes timeshares, and gift card purchases.
- Qualifying purchases must total a minimum of $500 USD, following conversion from a foreign currency.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
Quick Thoughts
There are more than 500 properties eligible for this promotion which includes brands such as Trademark, TRYP, Wyndham Grand, Wyndham Alltra, Dolce, and more.
When there was a similar Amex Offer last year, somewhat inexplicably the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tempe University / Phoenix was listed as being an eligible luxury property, so Wyndham did seem to play fast and loose with their definition of “luxury”. However, that property is no longer on the list and there are ~50 fewer properties than last time, so perhaps they’ve done a better job at refining their luxury designation.
Getting up to 20% back on a stay—or stays—is a nice discount though, so check the list if you’re planning on staying with Wyndham through October 27. In addition to room rate, you can hit the spending threshold with things like taxes and fees on your stay, meals, spa treatments, pet fees, etc.

Is the expiration date for booking? Is there a must stay by date?
Actually see it is October 27th.
You need to ensure your stay is paid for by October 27, 2026. If your stay at an eligible property is after that date, you could call the hotel and ask them to take payment earlier to ensure you can lock in the statement credit.
Hi, have always used these kind of offers domestically. This time however, planning to use in Mexico. I have it on my BCP which isn’t a travel card. Does that mean foreign transaction fees will be charged? Thanks for the guidance!
The Blue Cash Preferred card does charge foreign transaction fees, so you would be on the hook for those. However, if that’s the only card that’s an option, it’s still worth it as the fees will be significantly less than the $100 statement credit you’ll earn.
