Best Western has opened registration for a new promotion that’s awarding 5,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay at properties in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, with a max of 20,000 bonus points available. You’ll have to make your reservations ASAP though as bookings have to be made by May 10 for stays through September 7, 2026.

- Best Western Rewards members who (a) register for the promotion and book travel between May 4, 2026 and May 10, 2026, and (b) complete a stay of two (2) qualified nights* between May 4, 2026 and September 7, 2026 at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands, will earn 5,000 Bonus Points.
- For every two (2) qualified nights booked during the Booking Period, a Rewards Member can earn 5,000 Bonus Points a maximum of four (4) times during the Promotion Period (i.e., eight (8) total qualified nights). The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 20,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
- A Rewards Member’s earning preference must be set to BWR points.
- Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified night.
- Qualified nights completed prior to promotion registration, booked outside the Booking Period, or completed before BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements.
- A “qualified night” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean, at a rate eligible for earning Points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, booked through a tour operator, or booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on qualifying criteria).
- Qualified nights that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before September 7th, 2026, to count towards the promotion.
Quick Thoughts
Our Reasonable Redemption Value for Best Western points is 0.61 cents per point. That means that 5,000 bonus points are worth ~$30.50 which isn’t a bad return on a two night stay, especially if you happen to be staying at some of their cheaper properties.
What’s particularly nice about the promotion is that the bonus points are awarded for every two nights you stay, rather than for every stay of two or more nights. That means that if you book an eight night stay, you should max out the promotion with the available 20,000 bonus points.

Be aware that even though the promo is valid on stays through September 7, you have to book by May 10 which gives you less than a week to make your reservations.
