BeFrugal has increased cash back rates for American Express business gift cards to 2%. The next best rate is 1.5%.

Notes
- Do not use a promo code to reduce gift card fees or for free shipping since that will invalidate your cash back (the Premium Shipping Plan is fine, though).
- Do not buy denominations higher than $2,000 (see: $2K denomination limit on Amex gift card cash back)
- Do not pay with Citibank credit cards since they sometimes charge cash advance fees.

The last 4 or 5 attempts for AMEX business cards were all denied. I called at the time that they were denied and they couldn’t tell me why. I called again tonight to hopefully preempt another failure and the guy was able to tell me that the card I use to pay is supposed to be a business credit card, not a personal credit card. However, the 1st time I ordered them with a personal credit card, it worked for a $3k order. All the other ones though failed using a personal credit card (amex or visa). The customer service rep said the 1st one was a fluke, it shouldn’t have gone through. Sigh, I guess I have to work harder to try and get a business card.

I purchased $5000 worth of American Express business custom gift cards but it is coming up as 1.3% or ($66.67 cashback). A bundy of mine recorded the same $66.67 cashback on 1.3% of $5000 valued gcs. Anyone noticed the same thing for their transaction?
I don’t have any success buying the business cards. Even with a real EIN. I think I might try using my social this time.
Just got 6k…….and had to cancel an order for 6k earlier this week as they sent me 2 3k cards with ended up 0 CB at Be Frugal…….my call ended up in India and they indicated I would get my refund in 7-10 days so I’ll be watching that for sure……then I am to cut up the 3k cards…….
