Did $1000.00 on December 11. Not yet seeing anything on my tcb account. When should I inquire?
If you don’t already see money pending, then you should inquire right away
I assume no coupon code can be used?
That’s correct
Have the purchase limits changed from the $5K limit? (you state $10K above….)
From the “Everything thing you need to know” page:
Q: What are the purchase limits?
A: Consumer gift cards have a maximum order value of $5000.
Yes, the limits have recently changed to $10K personal/ $100K business. Not sure if the change is seasonal or not – Amex website still shows the old limits of 5K/75K. But with the portals heating up lately, I’ve made 3 separate personal orders of 3K each within 7 calendar days and all were approved.
Thanks!
Yes, it looks like they changed. Thanks I’ll have to update the page!
I have seen some blogs suggest that one can use the Amex gift cards to load the new Target prepaid card. I tried it with no success. Has anyone had success using Amex gift cards to load Redbird?
Where did you see the failure at? What location of store? Was it a cashier that said no or the register denying it? Did you give the AMEX GC time to activate (i.e. you can’t buy them at OM/OD and load within a couple of hours)
Bought card at CVS and various registers at Target kept on rejecting method of payment. Store was in MA. I will try again in case card was not activated. Have you had success loading AT&T Target?
Yes, it worked for me (I’ve only tried once so far though) and others have reported success.
