So, can you buy a $200 AMEX card at Office Depot with your Chase ink card and get 5x the points and then turn around and put it in a Amex serve account and then use the serve to pay a bill? If so what’s the maximum you can buy? I would love to pay rent this way.
I don’t believe you can load Serve/Bluebird with an Amex prepaid.
I’m interested! Thank you for letting us know.
To clarify: it is only the fixed value cards that can be bought with credit cards. One could buy the $200 Amex gift cards, for example, and earn 5X (by paying with Chase Ink) and then use those for daily spend to get “5X everywhere”. Personally, I’m not going to bother with it but I know a lot of people who are interested.
Agreed. I’m not sure I see what the benefit is now.
Can these be bought with credit card. I thought they stopped taking credit cards for MC and VISA gift cards
Can you use credit card to buy the variable load gift cards with this promotion?
thanks
And where is the best place to unload them?
If they went cash only for variable load gift cards then I really don’t see the point. Are these fixed value cards?
Aren’t these things cash only now?
Variable? $500?
At Walgreens, sorry!
Thanks, that would be great!
Looks like Walgreen’s will be offering Amex gift cards for no fee. I don’t see OVs. Here’s the ad I found:
