Something really “stinks” with these deals…. too fast even for “quick deals” to post. Early this morning, doc of credit at 2:00 a.m. est posted a new deal for $20 off a $100 purchase…. and apparently, that deal was dead less than two hour later. (“maximum # reached, etc”)
So Is Amex only issuing an extremely limited # of these deals? (say, in the hundreds, if that) Or are the advanced points robot scammers killing this for everyone?
Shawn, you have a vested interest too in this question. If this trend continues, there will be no point following this “quick deals” board.
Yes there are probably a lot of people who automate their offer registration and in the past the Staples deals have been severely limited as to the number of spots. We cover a lot more than just Amex Offers on Quick Deals, but I definitely understand your frustration.
I think you are mistaken in thinking there exists “advanced points robot scammers” … o.0
There are thousands and thousand and thousands of people with amex cards looking for these things.
Oh no. Then you might have to go out and find your own deals. Imagine the horror in that?
I saw it around 6:45 am CST and managed to save to around 10-12 cards. Had to head to work and so missed out on about 20 more (management accounts etc)

This literally came into my email as a dead deal…jebus
It died really quickly unfortunately.
Well that died fast! FM, please update if you can split tender at the register when you test it. thanks!
I have done split tender before at Office Depot and have not had an issue. Just make sure to find a cashier who knows what they are doing.
