Rove has been a great addition to the points and miles world over the past year. After launching in 2025 with a number of transfer partners, they’ve since added Lufthansa, Japan Airlines, and SAS.
Rove has announced today that they’re adding two (but, in effect, one) new transfer partners: Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is the loyalty program of—you guessed it—Virgin Atlantic, while Virgin Red is the overarching loyalty program of the entire Virgin group. While they are their own entities, you can link your Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red accounts. That enables you to move your Virgin Atlantic points to Virgin Red on a 1:1 basis and vice versa. Some transferable currencies have Virgin Atlantic as a partner, while others have Virgin Red as a partner. Either way, they are, for all intents and purposes, the same thing.
Virgin Atlantic/Red are already partners with every single other major transferable currency, so it’s not like we were all short on opportunities to transfer points to them. That said, it’s always great to see transferable currencies adding new partners. It also hopefully means that we’ll see even more transfer bonuses to Virgin in the future now that Rove is in the mix.
