Capital One Travel is out with a new targeted offer to earn 20x miles (up to 40,000 miles) on your first hotel, vacation rental, or car booking through Capital One Travel until April 15, 2026. I received this on one of my cards likely because I have never used Capital One Travel to book travel under my account.

- This is a limited-time offer that will provide eligible customers the opportunity to earn a one-time bonus of 20X miles, up to a maximum of 40,000 miles, on a hotel, vacation rental or rental car booking made via Capital One Travel during the offer period.
- For this booking, customers will earn 20X miles per dollar on their booking, instead of their standard rewards earn rate, up until the total earn equals 40,000 miles.
- After reaching 40,000 miles, customers will earn their standard rewards earn rate on the remaining portion of the purchase.
- This offer is only available until April 15, 2026, or while supplies last and for one booking per account.
- Travel flights, activities and pay at stay are excluded.
- Rewards earnings will apply to net purchases (purchases minus any credits or cancellations) only.

Quick Thoughts
This is a terrific offer if you have a need to book an expensive hotel, vacation rental, or car rental. There’s no need to activate the offer if you are targeted, you’ll simply need to make a qualifying booking and you’ll earn 20x miles up to 40,000 miles. In other words, you can earn 20x on up to a $2,000 booking. While it certainly isn’t worth making a booking just for the miles, that would be a terrific rebate given the fact that Capital One has a decent collection of airline transfer partners.
Personally, I’m not sure that I have enough uses for the credit card hotel credits that I already have, so I’m not sure that I’ll be able to put this offer to use. However, if a need arises, I’ll certainly be keeping this one in mind.
For what it’s worth, I received this offer on my Capital One Venture Rewards credit card. I don’t have a Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card (my wife does), so I’ve never made a travel booking through Capital One Travel in my own account (we have made bookings through my wife’s account to use her annual travel credit).

Hi, question, for these types of offers, would I be able to redeem it if I use a non-capital one card to pay for it on the capital one portal? I have a card I still need to hit a sub on and also a hotel I need to book and this seems like the perfect opportunity.
