25% transfer bonus to Wyndham Rewards from Citi ThankYou Rewards (1,000:1,250)

0

Through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on June 13, 2026, City ThankYou Rewards is offering a 25% transfer bonus when you transfer your ThankYou points to Wyndham Rewards. With this transfer bonus City Strata Elite, City Strata Premier, City Prestige, and AT&T Access More card members can transfer 1,000 City ThankYou points to become 1,250 Wyndham Rewards points. That can be an OK deal in circumstances where you find an opportunity to redeem Wyndham points for outsized value, though it isn’t as good as the ordinary transfer ratio for Wells Fargo card members.

Quick Thoughts

Our Reasonable Redemption Value for Wyndham Rewards Points is only 0.67 cents per point with the 25% transfer bonus. That means you’re getting a reasonable redemption value of less than 0.84 cents with this bonus. That’s a really poor value for Citi ThankYou Points. That said, if you’re able to redeem your Wyndham points at the 90th percentile of redemptions, you could potentially do okay with this transfer bonus. Wyndham does have some luxury properties in its portfolio and some Vacation Club properties that could be a particularly good deal (in fact, I’m booked in a 2-bedroom unit this summer that accommodates up to 8 guests). Additionally, there are a number of all-inclusive brands in the Caribbean and the partnership with cottages.com that could yield outsized value. With the right redemption in mind, this could make sense.

However, keep in mind that Wyndham often sells its points for less than one cent per point, so it might be a better idea to just buy Wyndham points rather than transfer bonus from Citi, even with the transfer bonus.

This transfer bonus feels weaker still when you consider the fact that Wells Fargo recently added Wyndham Rewards as a transfer partner with its Autograph cards, at a 1:2 ratio. In other words, you can transfer 1,000 Wells Fargo points to 2,000 Wyndham points any day of the week. If you have access to Wells Fargo cards, I wouldn’t feel very compelled at all by this city transfer bonus.

Overall, this one is probably a miss unless you need to top off for a particularly valuable redemption.
