Costco is offering $50 off of a $150 purchase made on sameday.costco.com by using the code EASTER22 at checkout. You can combine multiple items in the cart in order to receive the discount, so long as the total is at least $150 after tax.
While not all items available in-store are available on the sameday site, it’s not just groceries either. It seems like most products besides giftcards and alcohol can be used with the discount. This is an easy win that’s worth checking out.
The Deal
- Use code EASTER22 at checkout to receive the $50 instant credit on $150+ purchases made via sameday.costco.com. Valid through 4/16/22.
- No delivery fee.

- Minimum $150 merchandise subtotal (after discounts and before taxes and tip) in a single transaction is required.
- Promotion is only offered on sameday.costco.com, is not valid on prior purchases, nor redeemable for cash.

Quick Thoughts
Looking through the sameday Costco site, I was surprised by all of the included items. Most of the Airpods/pads, computers, TV’s and clothing that’s in stock at my local store is available…and it looked like the in-store discounts were all stacking with the $50 off. You can have as many items as you want in the cart, so long as the total exceeds $150.
There is no delivery fee, so this seems like an easy win if you’re a Costco member. Costco is still on Point debit for 5% cashback, so use it if you got it.
If you have an Instacart Express account, you can link that with your Sameday Costco account and save a bit more. It’s usually around $1.00 savings per item for grocery/household types of items.
Thank you for the heads-up, sir. Saved $57.20. Most items are marked up, so I look forwrd to doing the numbers following an in-person shop. But, regardless, were very thankful for the update … you saved my wife & I, from the chaotic grumpy Easter Bunny shoppers
Much blessings to y’all!
I made an order yesterday, and I paid no attention to the prices. Back in 2020, the items were all marked up 9% through Instacart. I just looked at my order from yesterday, and I see that is now up to 17%. Ouch! So, on my pre-tax, pre-coupon price of $181.32, I only saved $18.56 after using the $50 coupon and paying a tip. 10% off at Costco is great, but I won’t be using this service again without another significant coupon.
From Dan’s Deals: “Costco Same Day Delivery is fulfilled by Instacart for Costco members. Prices are marked up by by about 17% over in-store pricing, but if you have an Instacart Express membership, the markup drops to about 9%. You can link your Costco Same Day and Instacart Express accounts here to get that savings”. So, the 9% hasn’t increased…not a happy camper.
I agree, looking at the items I’d buy and it’s still better for be to go to the store and buy them. Without the coupon the delivery is not close to a good deal
Beware! Prices are jacked up! I added a bunch of items to my cart and was about to do this deal until I read the comments here. Thank you @Loungeabuser! Indeed the prices are much higher online. The checked some photos that I took from the store since that’s how I show my wife items and prices when She’s not there. Prices for for items like HUGGIES diapers are $15 more per box.
It seems like most non-sale items have about a 17% markup (same as instacart).
So, buying $150 with $50 off, you’ll still be ~15% ahead of Costco prices. But some items seem higher than others to me (like the huggies you mentioned)
As I said below, I got a pair of Airpods for $113. Add the $37 portion of the $50 coupon and I got the Airpods for $24 below the Amazon price with same-day delivery.
So, I do think there’s still value to be had here.
There’s certainly something of value but just for things, like airpods, that i don’t need to buy right now
All of the items I looked out were marked up from costco.com, some substantially.
6 pk replacement sonicare toothbrush heads was $56 v $39 on the website.
Not worth my time, but thanks
I just looked at your item. The $56 is discounted to $46 when you add it to your cart, making the markup exactly 17%. I am pretty confident that 17% is the across the board markup (at least for my metro area), with the exception of cat food that was 17.6%. I guess cats are bad at math?
Ok, it’s $46 for 6.
Amazon is 30 for 4.
Both deliver.
I think I’ll just buy 9 chocolate cakes at $15 and the scale that’s on sale on $18
It’s a good reminder to double check pricing, for sure. It seems like most non-sale items have about a 17% markup (same as instacart). So, buying $150, you’ll still be ~15% ahead of Costco prices.
BUT, as you point out, Costco isn’t always cheapest (nor is Amazon). Retailers thrive on all of us making comparisons based on one or two items and assuming it hold true across the board. So, good point.
That said, I got a pair of Airpods for $113. Add the $37 portion of the $50 coupon and I got the Airpods for $24 below the Amazon price with same-day delivery.
So, there’s still value to be had here.
Same. I’m getting Airpods Pro for $130 with the coupon. They’re $175 online at Costco and Amazon and $180 via same day, so I’m still saving $45. That is great deal.

What happens if items aren’t available when the shopper shops? Do you still get the full discount for the original order amount.
For example if you order $151 worth and the shopper can’t find a $12 item that doesn’t have a viable substitute do you lose the $50 discount?
Prices are higher than in-store so would be nice if that were clear
I saw reports of the $50 discount being removed but can’t confirm. All items I sought were in stock.
