Let’s say you wanted to try out the Uniquely Yours plan. The cost is $12.50 per day for women or $13.93 per day for men, so we’ll go with the plan for women. That comes to a total of $349.99 for four weeks; shipping is free, but they add on $9.99 for packaging.
When checking out, add the promo code SAVE50 which reduces the cost by $50. That reduces the total cost to $309.98, although sales tax might be added depending on where you live.
If you were to apply three of the discounted gift cards from Costco to your order, your net cost would be $189.95. That means you’d effectively be paying $6.78 per day for that four week period. As the screenshot above indicates, you’d also get a week’s supply of FreshStart shakes included for free.
It might be possible to reduce the cost even more. Nutrisystem can be found on most shopping portals, with the highest current rate being TopCashback at 15%. The terms exclude redemption of Nutrisystem gift cards from earning cashback, but terms like that aren’t always enforced. It’s therefore worth clicking through from a portal just in case it tracks, as that’d be worth an extra $45 back.
It looks like Nutrisystem uses dynamic pricing based on whether you’re logged in to an account or not, possibly along with other factors. If the Uniquely Your plan shows up as more expensive than $12.50 per day, check out the website in incognito mode.
I’ve never tried Nutrisystem, so I can’t vouch for the quality of their food. This seemed like a good deal though, especially given so many people include dieting on their New Year’s resolutions list.

Be warned, it is VERY hard to cancel Nutrisystem, they’ll hard sell you and offer you discounts, and act disgusted if you want to cancel their program like they take it personally. Regardless the deal, I will NEVER use them again for that very reason. It’s almost like they think you should just use them year round non-stop. Yeah, not going to happen.

I would respectfully disagree. I used it for several months and slowly transitioned to a healthier nutrition based on its guidelines, first using it as a crutch, then following its principles without using Nutrisystem itself. Nothing that you could not do without Nutrisystem but the pre-packaged calorie counts based food made it easier to get started, IMHO.
Secondly, the $125 early cancellation fee someone mentioned is very clearly spelled out (multiple times during the first order). Basically the idea is that they give you a subscription discount, and require you to “renew” the subscription at least once (i.e.2 monthly shipments), otherwise it would be a one-time buy and not a subscription. So the discount has to be “returned” – not unreasonable in my view, if they disclosed it clearly, which they do. Also if you decide its not for you in the first 2 weeks, there is no penalty to cancel. I think most of the complaints revolve around misunderstanding this aspect of it.
Yes, they do make you call to cancel and try to talk you out of it but most subscription services do, and they give you options to reduce the service or “pause” it for few months, instead of outright cancellation etc. Not great but it is a business after all. And then if you stay firm, there is no issue with cancellation. Done it twice myself.
I don’t mean to sound like a shill for nutrisystem but this is a blog I read regularly and trust, so when i saw the one-sided review, given my own experience, I felt I had to give the other side of the story too.
I do agree this is a very unlikely topic for this blog despite the solid Costco deal (which recurs every few months FWIW, and I stock up on it when I am on the program).
Good for u I’m very glad it worked for u . I lost 22lbs in 22 days then lost 7 more in Aus .I weigh myself every day and I cut my food bill 50% now like $150 per month .It’s the long term that counts it’s been GONE 3 months let hope both of us can keep the weigh down.

It works great! The food is good too! There are appetite suppressants already in the food! I don’t know how they do it but they do and you really don’t get hungry I lost like 40 lb in 3 months.
