Quick Thoughts
This could be a decent little offer if you’re looking to test out RV travel. My family recently got invited on a camping trip in a couple of weeks. I’m not a tent camper, so I’ve been looking at VRBO/Airbnb rentals in the vicinity of the camping park (no chain hotels within an hour’s drive). Renting an RV instead would work out to be about the same price with this offer. Unfortunately, pick up points aren’t particularly close to me, but I’m still considering this just for the experience.
If I had both offers, I would use the Membership Rewards version since I value Membership Rewards points at greater than 1c per point.

A few things to consider with the RV rental. One is that RVs, while usually more comfortable than tents, still aren’t going to have nearly the comfort of an Airbnb. (I say “usually” because people can really glamp out tent camping and I’ve seen some super comfy and spacious tent set ups.) Beds can be very short and cramped, and kitchen and bathroom spaces tend to be extremely tight.
The advantage of the RV is that you can take your house with you, so it might lose some of the appeal if you are staying in one place. Plus, driving around a huge vehicle can be a pain and handling sewage and water isn’t always a lot of fun.
One really nice thing about an RV is that there is nothing like stepping outside your door and being in the middle of a national park or other wild setting for your morning coffee. However, you might check the camping area you are going to and see what the sites are like for hook-ups. Some places, especially national parks, can have beautiful wooded pull-through sites. In other places the trailer/RV area has all the charm of a Walmart parking lot. In the later situation you might find a home rental that is more secluded and picturesque than the camping spot.
One final note is to check insurance coverage costs because your CSR or Venture X isn’t likely to cover the rental.
