Thrifty Traveler Premium has shared that Delta is running a flash sale on award tickets to certain cities in Mexico, with tickets available for as low as 5,000 SkyMiles round trip from Seattle.

There’s no knowing how long this Delta flash sale will last, so it could be worth jumping on this deal ASAP. Getting nonstop flights for only 5,000 SkyMiles round trip is a great deal, although it does come with ~$115 in taxes and fees. With paid flights coming in at ~$300 though, redeeming miles represents great value.

Note that the 5,000 round trip pricing is based on you booking a basic economy ticket. Main cabin tickets are available from only 9,000 SkyMiles round trip, so some might prefer that slightly higher (yet still incredibly low) price to be able to cancel the tickets, select seats, etc.
