Delta is offering some terrific round trip fares in premium select class from Boston to Beijing, connecting to the A350 service out of Detroit. That’s an excellent price and it should be available for less than 60,000 bank points round trip depending on which cards you hold (see below for more detail). These fares are showing up in Google Flights, but not in the initial calendar view — you have to pick an outbound date first and then the $880 fares are populating. I see availability in March and April, though there could be more.
The Deal
- Delta Premium Select fares from Boston to Beijing, China for $880 round trip on select dates in March and April 2019

Quick Thoughts
As these fares are available directly through Delta. They are also available through the Chase Travel Portal, so those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve should be able to book the round trip journey for less than 59K Ultimate Rewards points.
Alternatively, those with the Amex Business Platinum card with Delta as their chosen airline would be able to book for 88,000 points and receive a 35% rebate (up to 500K rebated points annually) for a net cost of 57,200 Membership Rewards points. Either way, that’s a pretty solid deal for round trip premium select travel. Furthermore, you’d earn miles on these flights. The long-haul flights look like they book into G-glass on the dates I checked. See wheretocredit.com for ideas about where to credit them if you care more about redeemable mileage than MQMs.
