Fifteen percent off at Hotels.com certainly isn’t bad, particularly if you’re able to stack with Welcome Rewards and/or portal rewards when buying the gift card (check our Laboratory for previous results). Remember that you can easily combine Hotels.com gift cards here (scroll down to where it says “combine gift cards” and click the balance transfer button). Getting $200 for $170 sounds like a decent enough deal.
Keep in mind that Hyatt Place bookings through 3rd parties like Hotels.com will no longer qualify for free breakfast (See Stephen Pepper’s report on how that went down on day 1 of the new policy).
