The Dosh app is offering 6% cashback on in-store purchases at Walmart. That’s a great rate for in-store transactions, although you can save even more if you’re happy to place your grocery order online.
The Deal
- Use a Dosh-linked credit or debit card in-store at Walmart and earn 6% cashback.
Key Terms
- Limit $10 per day
- Gift card purchases are excluded.
- Expiry date unknown.
- Must link credit or debit card to Dosh before making Walmart purchase.
Quick Thoughts
In-store cashback as high as 6% is unusual for Walmart, so this is a great offer in that respect. It’ll also stack with Ibotta deals seeing as that app requires that you upload your receipt rather than being a card-linked scheme on the same network.
A couple of the terms limit its usefulness though. The most notable of these is that gift card purchases are excluded, although I’m not sure how strictly that’s enforced. The other is that you’re limited to $10 cashback per day which means you’ll only earn cashback on the first $166.67 of Walmart spend each day.
If you’re happy ordering your groceries online, you can save even more than the 6% for in-store purchases with Dosh. There’s a Walmart Online Grocery Amex Offer which can save you up to 20%. Alternatively, check your Bank of America credit card to see if you have the BankAmeriDeals offer for Walmart Online Grocery. That’s offering 10% back on up to $100 of spend.
If you’ve never used the Dosh app before, here’s my referral link. I get $5 if you sign up and you get $5 as well.
Do grocery pickup orders qualify, since they are ordered online and not “in store” technically?
I haven’t seen any data points either way, but I doubt it would work as I think it shows up as Walmart Online Grocery.
They qualify only for online, which is not currently being offered.

Be sure to check that your Walmart is included. The big, fairly new Walmart near me is not participating. They also don’t participate in the online grocery order program.
Does this work for Walmart neighborhood store?
It should do – if you do a search in the app for Walmart, it’ll list the stores near you and so you’ll be able to see if the neighborhood store is included.
no WM for me
