There’s a sweet new Amex Offer out on some Marriott credit cards giving +10 Bonvoy points on spending at U.S. supermarkets by the end of the year.
The Deal
- Earn +10 Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spend at U.S. supermarkets with a targeted Amex Offer.
Key Terms
- Expires December 31, 2023.
- Limit 7,500 bonus points.
- Valid in-store & online at U.S. supermarkets.
Quick Thoughts
This is a lovely deal if you’re targeted. All Marriott Amex cards normally earn 2x points at U.S. supermarkets; with this Amex Offer being a +10 offer, that means you’ll earn a total of 12 points per dollar on up to $750 spend for a total of 9,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. That’s an excellent return that will be easy for many people to max out organically with grocery spend over the holidays. Otherwise you could throw a gift card or two into your cart at the grocery store to help bump up your spend.

I have it on the Bevy – which already gets 4x at grocery stores. I don’t have a huge appetite for Bonvoy points but it makes sense to grab these. Also have the 7x gas offer, fwiw. Not as tempting…
I have “get 7 bonus points” per dollar at gas stations up to 5,000 points
Part 2 of my question: If under Offers, would it show up under the Shopping tab?
I don’t know which tab it would be under.
Will I see this under Amex Offers or would I be notified via an email? I didn’t see anything in Offers for any of my Marriott cards. Thanks in advance for anyone’s reply.
It seems to be an Amex Offer
Business card doesn’t have this. Instead found a $1500 spend in general with 5,000 bonus points, up to 3x. So $4500 spend would earn 9,000 for the 2x base + 15,000, or 24,000 points, so 5.33 points/dollar. Not terrible.
Thanks Amol. No soup for me on my business card
Thanks for the tip! No grocery bonus, but did have something like this. Spend $5k get 15k bonus up to 3x. Better than those stupid spend $16k get 4k MR, yuck.
I have the business, and the brilliant. Not targeted.
