The Deal

21%20% cashback when placing your first Grubhub order after clicking through from TopCashback. - Direct link to offer.

Quick Thoughts
If you’re an existing Grubhub customer, you can earn 3% cashback when tapping through to the Grubhub app from TopCashback on your phone. The offer for 21% 20% cashback on your first order doesn’t state that you have to order on your phone rather than via their website, but I’m inclined to think that it has the same requirement.
This is reinforced by the fact that Rakuten lists a couple of different new member promotions on their portal and the button you have to click/tap says ‘Get the App’.
Speaking of Rakuten, they’re currently offering 11% for your first Grubhub order which is 11x Membership Rewards if your portal earnings are set up that way. Some people will value 11x Membership Rewards at greater than 21% 20% cashback, so that’s worth bearing in mind if you’re planning your first Grubhub order.
If you have an Amex Gold card, don’t forget that its $10 monthly dining credit card be used on Grubhub orders. The great thing is that because that’s a card benefit rather than an instant discount, you’ll earn 21% 20% cashback or 11x Membership Rewards on your full order value, rather than the order value minus the $10 statement credit. Note that the cashback probably isn’t earned on taxes, fees, delivery charges, etc. though.

I can’t speak for the first time customer orders through TCB but the existing portal bonus never works for me. It’s possible to appeal but it is a lengthy process. Rakuten for the win!
Hello There,
Are you using IOS or Android to complete your purchases? This could be the reason that it’s not working for you as these are the only two routes to receive cashback for Grubhub.
Thank you

is First Purchase = New Customers ? What if you have downloaded the app to phone or pc but never ordered anything?
To be honest, I’m not sure whether that would work or not. I would’ve thought that clicking through from TopCashback and then placing your first order would work, but I certainly can’t guarantee that.
Hello There,
If you have never ordered anything, you are still considered a new member. Just click the link and it will work. Please be sure to use IOS or Android to complete purchases through Grubhub to ensure you receive the cashback.
Thank you

Rather stick to AA – 10x
I’d considered mentioning that, but that’d be like buying AAdvantage miles for 2.1cpp which is poor value in most cases.
This is for old customers. TCB is just 3%
TCB is offering 3% cashback for existing customers. The 10x through the AA portal is only valid for new customers too, unless their terms aren’t actually enforced.
