Was able to buy 2 of $500 cards in San Antonio, TX. Too bad I don’t have cat bonus, but oh well it’s still worth it. What’s good card with drugstore cat bonus?
The “old” blue cash card gives 5% cash back after $6500 spend at drugstores, gas stations, and grocery stores in the US
I did use my Barclay Rewards card which gives me 2x at groceries and gas stations. And to my. Surprise, Walgreens purchase did give me 2x (it shows the rewards next to the purchase online). Even sweeter!
Walgreen’s in Dallas allow credit card but maybe hard to buy 2. Will try tomorrow.
Can you use a Walgreens gift card to buy a Visa gift card?
I don’t know. I was successful with that a few years ago, but I’d guess they’ve closed that loophole by now.
My Walgreens wouldn’t let me purchase 2x$500 cards. Not worth the gift card if you have to pay $4.95 fee for any lower amount of a gift card.

Depends on the store. Many do.
