GrubHub is offering a free year of GrubHub+. From the terms on the landing page, this is advertised for Instacart annual members, but YMMV as to whether or not you’re eligible.

Key Terms
- Only available for Instacart users who are enrolled in a paid Instacart Express annual membership (Instacart users participating in an Instacart Express free trial are not eligible).
- Offer valid for users who do not have a Grubhub+ membership at the time of signup (may not be combined with other Grubhub+ memberships). Free delivery applicable on orders with a subtotal of $12+ (before tax, tip, and fees) from Grubhub+ eligible restaurants only.
- Additional fees (including service fees) may apply and vary on orders.
- Free twelve month or one year trial available for 365 days from the date the Grubhub+ trial is initiated. Grubhub+ is an automatically renewing membership service requiring recurring payments.
- After your free trial ends, your free trial will convert to a paid Grubhub+ membership and Grubhub will automatically charge you each month at the then-current rate (currently $9.99) plus applicable tax until you cancel.

Quick Thoughts
I don’t use GrubHub often because it isn’t available anywhere in my area, but since the Amex Gold card offers a $10 monthly statement credit that can be used at GrubHub (in addition to the $10 monthly Uber promotional credit), I figured it was worth signing up in the hopes that I get to use that a couple of times this year. It worked for me.

GrubHub+ normally comes with a free $9.99 pick up only meal. I wonder if this free membership comes with that? T&C don’t mention it…..
Thanks for heads up…I was getting sick of only using Amex gold credit at shake shack every month.
Also, I only have Instacart express free trial through I think it was a chase card promo, and the GrubHub+ promo still worked.
