Quick Thoughts
The best options with all three of these different promos is to buy digital gift cards if you can liquidate them easily because then you’ll either have no fees at all or you’ll earn a larger profit. You could buy physical cards and still get waived purchase fees, but you’d be on the hook for shipping fees which makes it less of a deal.
Be aware that if you pay with an Amex card, you won’t earn points/miles/cashback, at least with VanillaGift.com and MastercardGiftCard.com. You might also be charged a cash advance fee, so be sure to use a card from a different issuer.
