PayPal has a new offer that gives 1.5% cashback on purchases from Giftcards.com (GCC). This will stack nicely with earnings from shopping portals, credit cards and with the frequent sales that GCC runs.
The Deal
- Get 1.5% cashback when using PayPal to make purchases from Giftcards.com.
- This offer must be saved before checking out. I could find it by using the search bar in PayPal shopping on desktop, but couldn’t get it to display in a way that allowed me to save it. When I switched to mobile, I was able to find the offer by scrolling through the deals and then was able to save it, after which it appeared in my “saved” offers on desktop.

Quick Thoughts
The maximum load on Visa and Mastercard gift cards from Giftcards.com is only $250, with purchase fees being $5.95. The cashback from this offer puts a dent in that purchase fee, not to mention the rewards you can earn through a shopping portal which is particularly useful now that Giftcards.com is back on airline portals.
Giftcards.com also sometimes runs sales, giving discounts on Visa and/or Mastercard gift cards, as well as discounts on third party gift cards like Lowe’s, Instacart, Carter’s and more. This offer will stack with those sales. Additionally, you’ll get rewards on whatever card you use during your PayPal checkout, allowing you to quadruple dip shopping portals, credit card rewards, GCC sales and PayPal cashback.

My Capital One Shopping app has 4% back as the default amount, i.e. not as a special targeted offer for a crazy high amount. It was 5% yesterday though. Check out with PayPal connected to a Chase Freedom Flex or original Freedom for 5% back in Q4.
Can’t add the offer now…
PayPal has Q4 5% bonus for Chase Freedom.
Citi Merchant Offer also has this; so both stack it could offset the fee. However, I don’t find Citi Merchant Offers tracking these bonuses very well and their IT is horrible (Compared to Chase).
Do giftcards.com Visa gcs work at Wally or USPS?
Wondering the same
Also still card-linked offers for GiftCards.com on Citi cards (that may or may not track)
mine track about 33% of the time don’t count on it
