Hilton and Delta have been exploring a deeper partnership over the last year or so, including a decent promotion on Hilton stays and a crappy one on Delta flights. Now, there’s a new opportunity for Delta Elite status that’s available to some Hilton Honors members, where you get Delta Silver or Gold for 6 months, as well as a fast track offer to keep that status through January 31, 2026.
This promotion is being sent out via e-mail, but there’s also a link below where you can check to see if you’re targeted.
The Deal
- Targeted Hilton Honors members can get Delta Silver or Gold for 6 months through a new status match promotion.
- You can keep the matched status through January of 2026 by completing the following:
- Silver: $2K MQDs (Medallion Qualifying Dollars) during the 6-month promo period
- Gold: $4K MQDs during the 6-month promo period.

Quick Thoughts
This is another interesting expansion of Delta and Hilton’s mutual dalliance. Both offered Delta Statuses aren’t necessarily top-of-the-line, but if you’re targeted and have Delta travel planned within the next six months it could save you a bundle on bag and same-day change fees. You might even get a Comfort+ upgrade or two out of the deal.
Note that the terms say that you must have received an e-mail with this offer, but then go on to give a public landing page where you enroll. If you’re able to enroll on that page, it’s almost certain that you’re targeted, regardless of whether or not you received an e-mail.
Would be nice if it actually worked.
My Delta status gained through this offer posted, but when I click on the virtual card in the Delta app it states only “Valid thru 01/25”. It’s supposed to be for ant least 6 months according to the promo. Any one else check their valid thru dates?
Also works the other way. Targeted for Hilton status as a Delta Medallion.
Targetted, HH Diamond matched to DL Gold.

Were you Silver Medallion previously?
I was given GOLD status
Were you Silver Medallion Previously?
No status
How is Delta aware of my Hilton account and vice versa, if at all? Is it possible to link them, like for example Delta and Starbucks? I don’t even see Hilton listed on the Delta site advertising their hotel partners.
I’m Hilton Diamond and got Silver.
Same here. Still haven’t received a confirmation email yet and it’s been about 5 hours.
Same.
My confirmation email came this morning
Have highest Hilton status (Diamond) but “only” got offered Delta Silver versus Gold. Would make sense for Gold to Silver and Diamond to Gold but maybe I’m applying too mush common sense. Glad to have something regardless considering some of us Hilton elites left out altogether.
Not targeted. Diamond.
My wife and I were not targeted. Both Hilton Diamond.
Can we use that delta status to match to other programs? I know Alaska was matching delta status for a bit, not sure if they’re still doing that now
In theory, sure. The only hitch is if the program that you’re trying to match to requires proof of flight activity, which seems to be more and more common.
