I think Greenland has potential to be a new hotspot but it’s going to be a few years! Very limited hotel rooms and dining options. With challenging weather there’s frequent cancellations both at Nuuk and other airports. The same challenges don’t exist in Iceland.
We took the United flight this summer from EWR and it was amazing but they are not ready for prime time. Our flight home was cancelled due to wind and the airport was a mess the next day trying to get us out. They are absolutely not ready for the influx of tourists yet. But it’s an incredible place so if you get a chance and have a flexible schedule for the very likely event of flight delays you should go before it gets popular!
