Quick Thoughts
With a limit of $37.95 back, you’ll max this out when spending $253. If you have a stay that’s more expensive than that and have this offer on more than one card, you can ask the property to split the cost of your stay across two or more cards to get multiple statement credits.
If you don’t have a stay planned through the end of October but do have a property near you that sells physical Hyatt gift cards, you could buy one from the front desk to lock in the 15% discount for future use.
Can we book a pre-paid rate for a future trip and have this count? If the purchase is made before Oct 31, but the actual stay is later?
Update: Nevermind, jus saw it says “direct payment to merchant”
Yes, provided they take payment before the offer expires, that will work. If they don’t automatically take prepayment, you can call the hotel to ask them to take the payment early.
If this was canceled much later would it credit back to my card and then the offer would be refunded?
Swing and a miss for any Hyatt’s selling gift cards at the hotel in the western suburbs of Chicago. Shame, as I was able to do the equivalent for Marriott.
Would be nice if these offers for partners were ACTUALLY ON the co-branded cards with those partners!
Assuming one is able to find a Hyatt which sells gift cards at the front desk – wondering – would buying those count as 4X category spend for Hyatt on Hyatt credit cards? Would it also count as 5X for Hyatt member spend at Hyatt hotel? And with 10-20-30% bonus for elite status? I.e. how many Hyatt points per dollar could someone earn buying the gift card at the front desk if they were, for example, a globalist purchasing with a Hyatt credit card…?
Is Hyatt Residence Club the same as Hyatt Vacation Club? According the Hyatt website, it was rebranded in April.
Yes
Can we visit the hotel to purchase Hyatt Gift Cards and use them to redeem this offer? Is that a valid option for this deal?
